Franki Elliot at HELLO LA

By Naomi Huffman

Last month, Franki Elliot joined AirBnb at their HELLO LA Arts District pop-up salon. She brought her pink typewriter and typed stories for strangers.

"It's really important to tell your story, to get it out there, because there are people who can relate to it, learn from it, grow, and connect," Franki said.

Franki was interviewed about the importance of doing what you love. See the video below, and read the full article here!

Franki's stories bring people together around truths about love, hearbreak, and the beauty of a life lived with passion. Pre-order the book today to share Franki's stories with those that inspire you and those that you love.

By Naomi Huffman

Since 2009, Samantha Irby has been making true fans and friends out of her readers at BITCHESGOTTAEAT and tearing up the live lit scene here in her hometown of Chicago. We were thrilled to release Samantha's first essay collection MEATY earlier this fall, and now we've got more good news: Sam's going on tour.

Sam's tour launches this Tuesday at WORD Bookstore in Brooklyn with a reading hosted by Emily Books, but she'll be reading and singing books at locations in the Midwest through mid-December.
