ZERO FADE: BEST OF KIRKUS 2013

By Naomi Huffman

If publishers are parents and the books they publish are their children, Chris L. Terry's ZERO FADE is the nervy kid brother with heart, and today, we're so freaking proud of him.

Kirkus Zero Fade

On December 2nd, Kirkus Reviews offiically announced ZERO FADE among its Best Teen Books of 2013!

ZERO FADE chronicles a week in the life of inner-city teen Kevin Phifer as he deals with a whack haircut, crushes on girls, being grounded, and overcoming his own homophobia as his idol Uncle Paul comes out as gay. It's an imporant and necessary read for students, but adults will find it entertaining, tooZERO FADE is set in 1994, and hilarious references to mid-90s pop culture abound.

To help us celebrate, why not purchase a copy of ZERO FADE today?

MORE ZERO FADE:

Chris and wife Sharon Mooney created a book trailer together for ZERO FADE in a single day, because they're crazy talented. Check it out.
