Curbside Sounds - Chris Bower Reads "Maria Loves Albert"
By Jacob S. Knabb
Curbside Sounds is a new audio project where we'll feature authors we dig reading their work or telling a story while sitting on a curb or their favorite bench, at a bar in the middle of a lazy afternoon, and sometimes (as in this case) even at a recording studio. For our first installment we've got Chicago writer Chris Bower reading his story "Maria Loves Albert" (Available in Another Chicago Magazine Issue 50.2).
Chris Bower is the curator/host of the semi-once-a-while Ray's Tap Reading Series in Avondale. He writes and produces plays in Chicago and teaches at various schools around the city. You can find him at holdmyhorses.com
